Il shubbaan il lo6af Fedo and cozy tagged me about this thing where you say what you want in your partner. These are in NO particular order.

1. Met7ajba.
2. Knows that marriage is a religious obligation just as much as it is a 'personal' relationship.
3. Opinionated. A lot. Isn't affected by what I think (politics and what have you).
4. But still, of course, share the same ideas and attitude towards parenting.
5. No way near 'mainstream'. Tafreg 3an being opinionated. I can't explain it.
6. Considers my mom her mom, and my sisters her sisters.
7. Understands the nature of my job.
8. Athletic. Tennis or something. Not a swimmer though.

On a completely different subject, was just watching Platoon and I just have to say that Elias' (Willem Dafoe) death scene has got to be one of the most heartbreaking moments caught on film. Whoever said slow motion doesn't work should see that again.

  • الله يعطيك على قد نيتك.... و اكثر شي عجبني رقم 3 مب مثل بعض الريايل اللي الله يهداهم فارضين رايهم غصب على حريمهم و هم رقم 6 بعد مهم مب مثل بعض الحريم اللي الله يهداهم بعد ما يدانون شوفة حماتهم حتى لو كانت تصير لهم و تصير بين يوم ليلة عدوتها :)

  • I guess everyone has some sort of checklist Temetwir...BUT believe me, never stick to it. I've known many men and women who've said "I want this and that" and guess what, the ended up with someone totally different...and they're just fine and dandy now :)

  • Where to start?
    Just as some others here have been saying, I find your blog a breath of fresh air in the midst of this entire "westernized elitist" trend going on in the blog scene right now.

    I've been contemplating starting a blog of my own but I've stumbled upon yours accidentally and you seem to pull the words right out of my mouth. So no need for me to delve into this blog scene, yet. It looks to occupying so I'll just let you speak for me for now. ;)

    I noticed how similar this blogger is to someone I know and the more I read the more it was apparent. The writing style, hobbies, interests etc. It's been some time bo 3alwa ;)

    i dont consider this to be a checklist.. and im sorry but ive heard and seen a lot of "i want this and that" and its all stuff like 'romantic' or 'fun' or 'gets me icecream on friday' or whatever .. so yeah, they can definitely be just fine and dandy w/o it :)

  • faith true, we do compromise.. but i really doubt that anyone who's marrying for the right reasons would choose to live with a totally diff partner than he or she had wished for..

    sever ur right, personally, i find swimmers' figures to be totally repelling.. but i was also just making a stereotype that i dont like female swimmers personalities :P

    as for ur other question, sure of course i would "like" any other girl even if she does not fit into any of these points .. thats because i dont "care" what she does or how she thinks, i just "care" that she's a nice person u can be around with,, i hope that makes sense
